What I have learnt from week seven

Under the pressure of midterm exams, I found week seven was one of the most tough but interesting weeks of my fall term.

The content of CSC104 taught in this week about how to decompose and reconstruct images in DrRacket was really challenging for me so that I could not get a satisfying result on my tutorial quiz. At the same time, the second part of assignment 2 was also another challenge. However, I feel delighted because I had learnt a lot from my work, although it is not easy to get through this week.

For DrRacket study, I realized the reason why cannot understand the course material very well is that I did not read the online text book attached under videos carefully. Therefore, in order to prevent my next quiz getting the same poor result as that of this week, I plan to read text book more carefully after I finish videos. I hope this will work in my future study on DrRacket.

I was really surprised about how Wikipedia's sandbox is working because it was more like a programming, which cost me a huge part of time to figure out the rules of how to work on it. The process was interesting, and I had learnt a lot including how to cite, how to manage words to fit the academic criteria, and how to follow the sandbox editing rules. Besides, I feel liking I am getting more interested in making contributions to Wikipedia entries. I think I will keep doing that although it is not required as an assignment.

In conclusion, I have learnt a lot from this week's study not only on course skills, but also on the academic attitude. They fulfilled my goal of performing better during my first year of university study.
